Preventing Fiber Breakage
The pump source and laser head of the laser system are connected by optical fiber. Users should ensure that the bending diameter of the fiber is greater than 300mm during use and transportation. Severe bending will lead to fiber breakage and malfunction of the laser system.
Preventing Dust Contamination
When not connected to the fiber optic cables, the fiber optic connectors of the power supply and laser head must be fitted with the protective caps provided with the system to prevent external dust from contaminating the internal optical components.
When not connected to the power supply and laser head, the fiber optic cables must also be fitted with the protective caps provided with the system to prevent contamination of the fiber end face. (If dust has adhered to the fiber end face, use a syringe to blow it clean; if heavily contaminated, wipe it clean with lint-free paper soaked in a mixture of alcohol and ether). Failure to install the protective caps will contaminate the internal optical components and fiber end face, causing the entire laser system to malfunction and voiding the warranty.
