1. Integrated molding of complex internal cavities and irregular structures.
The steam flow channels inside the turbine cylinder and valve housing are complex, with flanges, protrusions, reinforcing ribs, and wall thickness transition structures. Casting can be formed as a whole, reducing segmented welding. Significantly reduce the number of welds to avoid the risks of weld creep, thermal fatigue, and steam corrosion cracking under high temperature conditions; Gradual wall thickness can be achieved based on temperature and stress fields to optimize structural stress distribution.
2. High temperature resistant and creep resistant materials are optional, suitable for steam working conditions.
Optional heat-resistant cast steel, the material has good high-temperature strength, creep resistance, and thermal fatigue performance, can withstand repeated cold and hot shocks during the start stop process, and resist high-temperature steam oxidation.
The material composition can be adjusted as needed to meet different temperature and pressure levels of thermal power/solar thermal/industrial steam turbines.
3. Strong ability to form large pieces and high degree of structural design freedom.
Large shaped pressure parts such as large cylinders and valve housings are difficult to directly form complex internal cavities through forging; Casting blanks makes it easier to achieve large-scale molding, and the structural design is not limited by forging processes.
4. Compared to welded structures, castings reduce the risk of high-temperature fatigue failure.
There are a large number of welded joints and residual stresses in the welded shell. When the unit is frequently started and stopped, thermal fatigue cracks are easily generated at the weld position. Cast steel integrated molding, with fewer joints, and higher reliability of the overall structure under alternating temperature fields.

1. Ensure sealing accuracy.
The split flange, valve seat sealing surface, bolt holes, and assembly stop are controlled for flatness, roughness, and dimensional tolerances through CNC boring and milling processing.
2. Correct casting deformation to ensure form and position tolerances.
Cooling of castings can cause warping deformation. Unified machining benchmark to ensure coaxiality and parallelism, ensure assembly clearance of components such as rotors, baffles, and retaining rings, control flow clearance, ensure unit efficiency, and avoid dynamic and static friction.
3. Remove surface defects from castings to obtain a dense matrix.
Milling and boring to remove oxide scale, surface pores/sand sticking on castings, expose dense metal matrix, reduce surface defect sources, and prevent crack initiation at high temperatures.
4. Meet the requirements for subsequent heat treatment and surface treatment.
A uniform and consistent machined surface is conducive to surface strengthening such as welding, surfacing, and nitriding, improving resistance to cavitation and wear.
